“Ichimoku Kinko Hyo”, or Ichimoku-charts for short Gann’s HiLo Activator Indicator - swing trading at its best
Nov 09

Prime ministers of Ireland, Greece and Italy have been forced to resign over the aftermath of the current bank- /debt- and/or budget deficit crisis.  Who will be next to throw the towel?  Meanwhile there are no signs whatsoever that anything substantial is going to chance in the foreseeable future.  Profits are kept private as before while debts are keenly turned over to communities at large.

Europe in it too deep, it should have stopped throwing good money after bad a long time ago.

Like the last couple of years, politicians continue to proclaim their mantra “there is no alternative to…<fill in the blanks>” as an excuse to put an ever increasing burden on the citizens of most Western nations.  Of course a sound bite like that only serves to stifle any factual discussion and provides those politician uttering such nonsense a waiver for the future - afterwards he/she will claim “there was nothing else he/she could have done”.  Repeat it often enough and even they themselves start to believe it.

Where does that leave us?

  • Will Greece still use the Euro in a couple of years?
  • Will Italy still be able to refinance their budget deficits?
  • What about Portugal and Spain, it’s been rather quiet in that corner…
  • Will Belgium still be there in a couple of years or will the nation cease to exist?

Your guess is as good as mine and that is the tragic part. Quite a few certainties have been rocked and put up for discussion.
Let’s just plan for the worst and hope for the best!
